Does red still suit me?
Work in progress with filmmaker Celia Quartermain, ‘Does red still suit me?’ features a rocking horse, a woman, a farm and a red dress and is to be part of a trilogy of shorts directed and filmed by Celia Quartermain and in all three of which the artist participates or contributes in different ways.

Men on the Terrace
Five men of different ages from 17 years to 75 years were invited to be artist participators in a performance at Rievaulx Terrace, North Yorkshire.
Dressed in their everyday clothes the five men carried a life size image of themselves dressed as ancient Greeks and a ceramic urn. The urns were constructed by the men in a three day workshop with the artist.
Walking onto the terrace the men seek to find where to place their portrait while always keeping their urn close by their side. Once they have selected where to place themselves the men leave the terrace carrying their urn with them.
'On the Terrace' reflects upon the poignancy of preservation and the breadth of the interpretation of ideas surrounding heritage, visiting and being visited. It references human concerns that surround individual vulnerability such as 'placing oneself' and a preoccupation with being noticed.
