Open Air

I’ve worked as a freelance arts' facilitator on open air projects with adults and children. In the past has this has included Lanternhouse International (aka Welfare State International) In more recent times Rural Arts, North Yorkshire and in 2008 and 2009 in Caseda, Navarra, Spain (see Artist in School Residency) both with children and adults.

Images on these pages include some of the work made with RANY (Rural Arts North Yorkshire) including willow bowers – decorating found pieces of wood and spontaneous making of artifacts with found materials.

Other work includes outdoor kilns - sawdust, raku, smoke firing and using junk materials to create temporary sculpture and mark events while involving public participation.
