Designer for Noye’s Fludde March 2009

In this production at the Ashby Wesley Methodist Chapel, Scunthorpe the church itself became the arc and under the direction of Em Whitfield the animals and birds circled the church before arriving at the alter.

Where possible the members of the choir were invited to design some of the artifacts and banners while each mask and costume were individually designed and made by all those who were the animal cast (86!)

The T shirts, sponge printed with animal footprints, the masks, the banners and the colours of the costumes of the main characters and the vivid rainbow provided the right balance amongst the white walls, light oak and the silver of the organ in this beautiful Wesleyian Chapel.
